| Introduction |
The Firm List has been around since 1997 growing in size & scope with a lot of hardwork by
myself and the help of many wonderful people from around the world. Up until now, I've never had the proper way of giving
thanks to these people. With the introduction of Friends of The Firm List, I am hoping to thank those who've helped in the
past, who continue to help and provide the opportunity for others to help out.
The Firm List is a spare-time project. I don't have funding, very little revenue and certainly no chance to make a living
doing this. Being a spare-time project, I can only do what I have the time & ability to do. If something takes too much
time, it won't get done. If it requires experience/resources I don't have, then I'd have to find someone else to do it,
which costs money.
But unlike a personal website or weblog, The Firm List benefits firms and individuals. I know that many people use The
Firm List as a research and marketing tool. Many people have gotten jobs through this site. Many firms get work through
this site. Well, in the open sense of the web, here's a call for giving back. |
